Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply when you browse this website, submit an enquiry, book an assessment or receive educational services from Hameed Urdu Academy.

By using the website or proceeding with enrolment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. When the student is under 18, the parent or legal guardian making the enquiry or payment accepts these terms on the student’s behalf.

Any written programme details, fee confirmation, schedule or learning arrangement agreed directly with the academy forms part of these terms. If a specific written agreement conflicts with this general page, the specific written agreement will apply to that arrangement.

Academy services

Hameed Urdu Academy provides live online Urdu education worldwide and may provide offline classes in Islamabad and Rawalpindi by arrangement.

Services may include:

• Initial assessments and qualification guidance
• One-to-one or group lessons where offered
• Cambridge, AQA and Pearson Edexcel Urdu preparation
• General Urdu language development
• Writing correction, homework and personal feedback
• Past-paper guidance and mock-examination preparation
• Progress communication with parents where appropriate

Course content, lesson frequency, duration, teacher allocation and class format may differ according to the student’s route and the arrangement confirmed before enrolment.

Assessment and enrolment

A free assessment or consultation is intended to understand the student’s level, qualification and learning goals. It is not a guarantee of admission, timetable availability or a particular academic outcome.

Parents and students should provide accurate information about:

• The student’s age and current level
• The correct examination board, syllabus and subject code
• School or examination-centre requirements
• Relevant learning needs and scheduling constraints
• Contact details required for communication

The academy may recommend a route based on the information available, but the school, examination centre or awarding body remains responsible for final exam entry and registration.

Fees, payment and refunds

Fees, payment dates, lesson packages, currencies and any applicable refund or credit arrangements are communicated before payment. Enrolment is confirmed only when the agreed payment or written confirmation has been received.

Students and parents are responsible for reviewing the confirmed fee and programme details before paying. Bank, card, currency-conversion or transfer charges imposed by a payment provider may be the payer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

Any programme-specific cancellation, credit or refund terms provided in writing before payment will govern that purchase. Questions about a payment should be raised promptly through the Contact page.

Scheduling, attendance and changes

Class times are agreed according to teacher availability, the student’s time zone and the selected programme. Students should join on time with the required materials and a suitable learning environment.

If a student cannot attend, the academy should be informed as early as reasonably possible. The availability of a rescheduled lesson, lesson credit or replacement class depends on the arrangement confirmed for that programme.

The academy may occasionally need to change a lesson because of illness, emergency, public holiday, technical failure or another reasonable cause. When this happens, the academy will aim to provide suitable notice and an alternative arrangement.

Repeated absence, lateness or failure to complete agreed work may reduce the effectiveness of the programme and may be discussed with the student or parent.

Online learning requirements

Students are responsible for access to:

• A reliable internet connection
• A suitable computer, tablet or supported device
• Working audio and, where required, video
• The agreed video-conferencing or communication platform
• Required books, notes and writing materials
• A quiet and appropriate study space

The academy is not responsible for disruption caused by the student’s device, internet connection, electricity supply or third-party platform. When a substantial academy-side technical problem prevents a lesson, a reasonable alternative arrangement will be considered.

Student conduct and safeguarding

Students, parents and academy representatives should communicate respectfully and behave appropriately during classes and messages.

The academy may intervene or end a class where there is:

• Abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour
• Harassment or deliberate disruption
• Inappropriate recording or sharing of another person
• Academic dishonesty or misuse of assessment material
• Conduct that creates a safety or safeguarding concern

Parents or guardians should support suitable supervision and safe use of online platforms for younger students.

Learning materials and copyright

Original academy notes, lesson slides, recordings, worksheets, model responses, feedback and other materials are provided for the enrolled student’s personal educational use.

Unless written permission is given, users must not:

• Sell, republish or distribute academy materials
• Upload materials to public websites or shared repositories
• Record or redistribute live lessons
• Remove authorship, branding or copyright notices
• Use academy materials to operate another teaching service

Third-party examination papers, syllabuses, books and awarding-body materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to applicable permissions and educational exceptions.

Academic results and student responsibility

The academy provides teaching, feedback, structure and exam preparation. Academic progress also depends on attendance, practice, prior ability, school support, examination conditions and the student’s own effort.

No specific grade, result, admission outcome or level of improvement is guaranteed. Any examples of student progress are individual experiences and should not be treated as promises of identical results.

Students remain responsible for completing work honestly, following examination rules and confirming current syllabus requirements with their school, examination centre or awarding body.

WhatsApp and external services

The website may link to WhatsApp, email providers, video-conferencing platforms, payment providers, examination boards and other third-party services.

Those services operate under their own terms, privacy policies and availability. Hameed Urdu Academy does not control their systems and is not responsible for third-party outages, security incidents, content or policy changes.

Personal information is handled as described in the academy’s Privacy Policy.

Suspension or ending services

A student or parent may ask to end future learning arrangements by contacting the academy. Any financial treatment will follow the written terms confirmed for that programme.

The academy may pause or end services where:

• Required fees remain unpaid
• Attendance or communication repeatedly breaks the agreed arrangement
• There is serious misconduct, dishonesty or a safeguarding concern
• The academy can no longer provide the agreed service
• Continuing the arrangement would be unlawful or unreasonable

Where reasonably possible, the academy will communicate the concern and next steps before ending services.

Liability, availability and governing law

The website and educational information are provided in good faith. While reasonable care is taken, the academy does not promise that every page, link, external platform or digital service will always be error-free or continuously available.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hameed Urdu Academy is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of the website, third-party services, missed opportunities, examination-board changes or matters outside the academy’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Hameed Urdu Academy in Pakistan, while respecting any mandatory rights that apply to an international customer in their own jurisdiction. The parties should first attempt to resolve any concern through direct, good-faith communication.

Changes, questions and contact

These terms may be updated when academy services, website functions, legal requirements or third-party systems change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.

Material changes affecting an existing paid arrangement should be communicated directly where reasonably necessary.
